How the study was calculated

CurrencyFlow uses the available dated reference observations returned by the rate source or stored snapshots. The arithmetic average uses only observed dates; missing weekends or holidays are not silently filled with invented values.

What this study can and cannot tell you

The range describes historical reference data. It does not forecast the next rate and does not represent a guaranteed bank, card or transfer quote. Retail providers can apply spreads, fees and different processing dates.

Why this is useful

The study gives a reproducible historical baseline for budgeting, invoice explanations and comparing a provider quote with the recent range without pretending that historical movement predicts the future.

Source and review

Reference data: Frankfurter and locally stored CurrencyFlow snapshots. Generated and reviewed 2026-08-20. Methodology and data-source pages describe caching and rate handling.

Frequently asked questions

Does this 12-month study predict the next exchange rate?

No. It summarizes historical dated reference observations only.

Why can my bank quote sit outside the study average?

A bank or payment provider can use another processing date and add spread or fees.

EDITORIAL NOTE

How this guide is maintained

This guide is maintained by CurrencyFlow. Automated checks cover structure, duplication and basic consistency; they are not a claim of human expert endorsement. Dated public reference data is used as a comparison benchmark, while banks, cards, ATMs and transfer providers may add spreads, fees or use another processing date.
